Years of expertise
The name ABX is closely linked to the development of modern molecular imaging and radiotherapy. In 1996, ABX advanced biochemical compounds were first to provide quality precursor compounds to the molecular imaging community, enabling today's industrial PET radiopharmaceutical production.
In 1998, recognising an unmet need for dedicated radiopharmaceutical development expertise, ABX established its CRO division, spun out in 2002 as ABX-CRO advanced pharmaceutical services, the world's first full service CRO specialising in nuclear medicine.
We have been involved in many important radiopharmaceutical product developments since. Today, molecular radiotherapy is an independent pillar of oncology.

Our Expertise
Radiopharmaceutical development requires navigating a complex intersection of imaging physics, pharmacology, nuclear medicine, clinical research and regulatory processes. We have spent more than two decades building a team that covers all of them. Across more than 70 radiopharmaceutical trials from phase 0 to phase III, we design the protocol, manage the sites and analyse clinical and imaging data — work that we deliberately keep integrated, because separating it costs time.
